Theodore Wells Pietsch designed the Alpheus W. Wilson Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church South in 1915. The building is situated on the southeast corner of University Parkway and Charles Street, much smaller in scope than Pietsch’s original design. After construction was finished, it opened in 1920. The building is extant today. Neighboring Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Campus, it’s now the Bunting Meyerhoff Interfaith and Community Service Center, the portico of which makes a recognizable entrance.

The Baltimore Sun published Pietsch's renderings for the Alpheus W. Wilson Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church South on May 23, 1915.

The original plans far exceed the scope of what was actually built in 1920 and what stands as of 2022.
