No. 109 on J. Appleton Wilson list of Executed Projects. He says: "New story to No. 279 Charles St. Wm. B. Wilson." By 1889, Wm. B. Wilson, according to the list of the Bachelors Cotillon, had moved to 1228 N. Charles. The house was eventually demolished, perhaps for the Monumental Life building of 1923.
